Discovering the truth about ourselves is a lifetime's work, but it's worth the effort.
— Fred Rogers

Welcome to the Summer 2021 edition of Westside Notes. In spite of these unusual times, we seem to be moving into a phase of re-entry, and I notice myself gradually considering the inevitability of leaving the cocoon of my home office and returning to face-to-face sessions once again. In contrast to my usual eagerness, I plan to take my time and I encourage you to listen to your natural rhythm as well.

For example, some of my colleagues are back in the office seeing clients in person and I’m still in the process of securing a new space. My clients have been very flexible and many will be staying on Zoom which feels bittersweet but also a sign of the changing times. I was also invited to give a presentation at the International Brainspotting Conference in Denver later this month, but I didn’t feel ready to attend a large conference in a strange city so I’ll be giving the presentation virtually—the wonders of technology .

It’s Not About the Sex Update

A friendly reminder that my recent book is available on Amazon, Kindle or Audible at www.amazon.com. As a passion project, word-of-mouth marketing is essential as the book exponentially grows and gets into the hands of one person at a time.
